We proudly present our science Guest of Honor – Ivica Puljak.
Ivica Puljak is a renowned Croatian particle physicist whose scientific work included participating in the team at CERN that detected the Higgs boson and being involved with the development of telescopes for astroparticle physics. Educated both in Croatia and abroad, his talent and passion for science are equaled only by his dedication to science communication, explaining and demystifying science to everyone from adults to preschoolers, with a special focus on school-age children. His work has been recognised with a slew of Croatian and international awards and recently he has also stepped into politics, as member of Pametno, an education and science-oriented party.
We’ll announce details about his programming items throughout the year after all the programming applications (open until the 1st of March!) have been processed.
