Sci-fi author and Futuricon Guest of Honor Ivana Delač receiving the Artefakt award in 2017
We have a great announcement to share with everyone – parts of the Futuricon programme will be public!
As you are likely aware, Futuricon is a convention with paid membership, and originally all programming was supposed to be exclusive for members.
We have recently made a decision to make some parts of the programme public and this includes the opening ceremony (Friday, 2 October), Artefakt and ESFS Award ceremony (Saturday, 3 October), and closing ceremony (Sunday, 4 October). They will be streamed live from our studio via YouTube at times that will be defined in our timetable and they will remain on YouTube permanently.
This will enable us to reach a wider audience, including people who may be mentioned during the ceremonies, but may not necessarily be members of the convention. We also plan more surprises and elements for those ceremonies, but we don’t want to spoil anything yet.
Continue following our website and social media channels, there are many cool announcements incoming throughout September.
