So. Much. News.
We’re delighted to announce that everything is ready. Hopefully.
What’s on the menu?
As the first order of business, the Futuricon convention schedule is ready. We hope you like what you see. The programming runs on Friday, 2/10 from 5 PM to 11 PM, on Saturday, 3/10 from 10 AM to 11 PM, and on Sunday, 4/10 from 10:30 AM to 5 PM. All stated times are in Central European (Summer) Time, UTC+2.
How to watch it all?
The most important question today, however, is how is everyone going to access Futuricon? The majority of the programme will be streamed at Futuricon Live.
Login data will be provided to all registered members on Thursday, 1/10, or in any case no later than Friday, 2/10 around noon, by email, to the email address in the registration form.
UPDATE: Account information has been sent out, more details about accounts can be found here.
The system is fairly straightforward, after logging in you’ll see the schedule and you’ll be able to choose to watch Futuricon 1, 2 or 3 live stream at any moment. Additionally, the system has a simple chat function for viewers to interact in real time.
All members who join us in person at our broadcasting studio in RiHub and pay for their membership there will also receive full online access.
I want more social stuff / This seems a bit confusing
Worry not! Some ESFS programming, one LARP event, and a whole lot of socializing is made possible via the official Futuricon Discord server.
Here’s your public invitation, share it with interested friends: Join Futuricon Discord
You can use the Discord server to talk about random stuff, to warm up for the convention, ask questions, and ask for technical support. We’ll be with you as soon as possible.
When you join, please change your nickname to your full name, pen name, or recognizable nickname so we can know who you are and grant you extra access if you’re a speaker.
In order to ensure that all Futuricon guests, visitors, speakers and friends have a pleasant experience, please abide by our Code of Conduct at all times. In short – all rules and recommendations for meeting people in person are equally valid in the virtual environment.
Just a few days to go! We can’t wait.
